Happy New Year!

Well it's back to school tomorrow...we had a great christmas break with my mom and dad and aunt here for christmas. We kept busy at the markets and trying out different restaurants. We also had a good visit with Jills parents in November. Jill ran her first full marathon in December in Macao.  She ran well and now she's excited for her next one in February here in Hong Kong. Hunter got an inflatable dog/ball pit from Grandpa and Grandma for christmas and he loves it. Jill and I got him a motorized police motorcycle that he likes but he is terrified of sitting on it! He just likes to push it around with random things riding on it. We had quite a mountain biking adventure the other day. Not long after we set out we took a wrong turn and went 5 km in the wrong direction up a mountain. Fortunately after we found out where we were it was mostly downhill back to where we wanted to be. After another 10 km of torturous hills (It actually wasn't that tough but it sure was for me)  we got where we wanted to be. We bummed around a beautiful remote peninsula for a while and we had a great time until my tire went flat. After standing around trying to figure out what to do we noticed that Jill had a flat tire too! We tried patching the holes with electrical tape and bandaids but that wouldn't hold. Fortunately we were only about a 30 minute walk back to a road where we caught a taxi home.  We learned not to go out again without spare tubes or patches!
